We strive to make our websites accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG) and the European standard EN 301 549. Our aim is to ensure that all users – regardless of their individual abilities – can access and use our services.
These websites are currently partially accessible. We are continuously working to remove existing barriers and improve overall accessibility. However, due to limited resources and technical dependencies, not all requirements can be implemented immediately or in full.
As part of our internal evaluations to date, and taking into account the current technical capabilities, the following barriers may exist or be considered potentially relevant:
Some images and graphic elements may lack alternative text or contain insufficient descriptions, especially if they are linked or repeated in content. Purely decorative elements might not be correctly marked as such, potentially resulting in unnecessary screen reader output.
Form fields may, in some cases, be incorrectly labeled or not programmatically associated in a clear way. Structural elements such as fieldsets for grouping input fields may also be missing.
Multiple adjacent links may lead to the same target URL, which can cause redundancy and confusion for screen reader users.
Certain text sections may use very small font sizes, making them difficult to read—particularly for users with visual impairments.
In some instances, underlined text may be used in a way that could be mistakenly interpreted as clickable links.
In specific areas, the contrast ratio between text and background may not meet the WCAG 2.1 minimum requirement of 4.5:1, which could impair visual perception.
Embedded media content (e.g., videos or audio files) may currently lack subtitles or audio descriptions.
We are working to identify and resolve these and any additional barriers step by step. As our offering is based on third-party systems and templates, and we operate with limited resources, we kindly ask for your understanding that implementation will take place in phases over time.
For our company, the immediate and complete implementation of all technical accessibility requirements currently constitutes a disproportionate burden as defined in § 4 of the BFSG. Nevertheless, we are committed to continuously improving accessibility across our digital offerings.
If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions to improve accessibility on our website, we welcome your feedback:
